Web Developer - KForce

• Contractor with Ascentium as a front end web developer. Primarily worked on their Microsoft Windows website account using the Asp.net framework. Responsible for new website development and maintenance tasks.
• Developed websites to fit complex framework using a wide range of techniques, including both in-line and control based HTML, CSS, Javascript, XML, and some C#.
• Interfaced with application developers to add front end layer to dynamic, data driven web pages.
• Websites launched include PC scout and windows touch.

July 2007 - March 2010

Lead Web Developer - Indiana Interactive

• Lead front end web development efforts for IN.gov, the web portal for the state of Indiana. Tasks included: hand coding of new web sites, maintaining and improving existing web sites, development and enforcement of CSS, graphical, and accessibility standards and practices, managing of a team of front end web developers and graphic artists, and oversight of the work queue.
• Developed flexible, clean, standards based web sites designed to maximize end user experience
• Wide variety of web development tools and environments actively used for both web pages and interactive forms and applications.
• Key part of the team responsible for entire product lifecycle of Red-Dot Content Management System.
• Developed processes designed to improve the operational efficiency and responsiveness of creative services team.
• Investigated and integrated technologies and concepts new to the IN.gov portal.
• Served as dedicated web development resource for the offices of Governor Mitch Daniels, First Lady Cheri Daniels, and Lt. Governor Becky Skillman.

• Dissertation exploring the implementation strategy of enterprise eProcurement system for the Scottish Government; looking at the business rationale, how the project was marketed internally, and why some parts of the government have chosen to go with different procurement solutions.
• Consultant project with www.visitscotland.com to improve operational efficiency, marketing, HR, and customer service.
